In order to work at a nuclear power station, each individual that will be engaged in legally-stipulated radiation work must be registered and their exposure doses recorded using personal dosimeters and glass badges. Exposure dose limits for workers engaged in radiation work are stipulated by law to be 100mSv/5 years and 50mSv/year in order to prevent any effects on health, and exposure doses of workers are managed to prevent these limits from being exceeded.
Furthermore, both external exposure and internal exposure is assessed, and the maximum external exposure dose of workers engaged in radiation work in January 2021 was 0.30mSv/month. No significant internal exposure was found.
