Dividend Policy

Considering current severe business environment etc. since the Tohoku-Chihou-Taiheiyou-Oki Earthquake, Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings has decided to withdraw its existing basic dividend policy. While we strongly recognize sharing corporate profits to our shareholders through its value creating management as one of the primary tasks, our basic dividend policy is to be revised with careful consideration of our business circumstances and performance.

FY2023 Dividend and FY2024 Dividend Outlook

As for performance for the period ending in March 2024, despite the reduction in sales due to falling fuel and market prices, TEPCO  was able to secure ordinary gains and recorded net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company, mainly due to the impact of the time-lag inherent to the fuel cost adjustment system turning favorable.

However, taking into the current severe management environments,we deeply regret to pay out no interim or year-end dividend in fiscal year.

In addition, with respect to dividend policy for fiscal 2024, it seems that severe management environments will continue, we regret to pay out no interim dividents and to plan no year-end dividends as well.
