Top International Level of Quality
Japan has a maximum electric power usage of approximately 160 million kW, with the demand for electricity within the area covered by TEPCO Power Grid being equivalent to an area greater than that of some countries such as the UK or Italy.

Number of Power Outages
The number of power outages per household in Japan does not even reach one time per year, with this low level of power outages being rather outstanding when compared to that of other countries.

Duration of Power Outages
The power outage time (min.) per household in Japan is an exceptionally low standard.
In comparison with other countries, the low amount of power outage time of TEPCO is rather outstanding.

Power Distribution Loss
- Power distribution loss: Resistance in power distribution lines results in some electrical energy being lost as heat.
- Loss Rate of Electricity Transmission: The proportion of energy lost due to power distribution lines in comparison to the total amount of energy generated.
TEPCO Power Grid’s loss rate of electricity transmission has been quite low, approximately 5% since the 1980’s, to provide an excellent standard in comparison with other countries.
