Outline of Solar Rooftop CE9
TEPCO HD has invested in Solar Rooftop CE9 Co., Ltd. (“CE9”), an SPC already established by CE, through a newly established intermediate holding company.
CE9 develops, owns and operates rooftop solar projects under a power purchase agreement ("rooftop solar PPA") in Southeast Asia.
TEPCO PG’s first investment in a power transmission project outside of Japan
Electricity Transmission Business in the UK for a 23-year
Purpose
- As our first investment project to the international transmission business, TEPCO Power Grid will start the operation and maintenance of the new offshore electricity transmission asset that connect with the Triton Knoll Offshore Windfarm, utilizing the knowledge and know-how of asset management and operation in Japan, with the partner (Equitix limited) from 2022 after the asset acquisition.

Underground substation project in Bangladesh (Dhaka)

- Use limited land space effectively in Dhaka, which has an extremely high population density
- Enable the stable supply of electricity and create improvements in power demand conditions

- Secure safety and preserve the surrounding environment by proposing Gas Insulated Transformer, which uses non-flammable gas

Outline of DEEP C industrial complex (Vietnam)
Electricity distribution and retailing for DEEP C are operated by DCGE (DEEP C GREEN ENERGY).
DCGE is jointly sponsored by TEPCO Power Grid (TEPCO HD’s 100% subsidiary) with a Belgian company. TEPCO Power Grid has 50% ownership.
DCGE has the exclusive power distribution business right in the complex. In other words, TEPCO PG invests this 50% exclusive business right.

TEPCO Energy Partner International (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was established in Thailand as the first overseas base for the CN Solution Business of the TEPCO Group.

Participation in TetraSpar floating offshore wind demonstration Project in Norway
TEPCO RP has participated in the TetraSpar floating foundation demonstration project, alongside Shell, RWE, and Stiesdal Offshore Technologies.

- Promote the transition to renewable energies as primary energy sources.
- Expand the possibilities of offshore wind power and contribute to the realization of a clean and sustainable carbon-neutral society.

Equity Investment in PT Kencana Energi Lestari, Tbk
In Feb 2022, TEPCO Renewable Power (RP) acquired 25% of the issued shares of PT Kencana Energi Lestari, Tbk (”KEL”), a renewable energy company in Indonesia, thereby making the company an affiliate.
This marks the first equity investment by TEPCO RP in an overseas renewable energy company that manages several power generation companies.
