Project to Verify Energy Management Systems Suitable for Power Supply-Demand Adjustment and Aggregation in Guangdong Province
Project Overview
In June 2014, the Japan Research Institute and China Southern Power Grid Synthesis Energy started organizing workshops to explore business opportunities for Japanese companies with a focus on the shift in energy policies in China (introduction of energy conservation and gas cogeneration technologies). The workshops ultimately consisted of concrete discussions regarding cooperation in the fields of energy conservation and ESCO business operations for local industry plants in China.
China Southern Power Grid, our business partner, is one of the largest power distribution companies in China, second only to the State Grid Corporation of China. It transmits, transforms, and distributes power throughout five different provinces in Southern China. The company has been actively developing cutting-edge technologies in the field of electric power, and has been engaged in collaboration with TEPCO over a long period of time through an exchange agreement formed by the two companies (19).
