FUKUSHIMA, Japan, Jan. 22 -Regarding the internal exploration for Unit 2 reactor at Fukushima Daiichi NPS which was informed of in the previous mail magazine dated Jan 19, TEPCO  obtained images of deposits  thought to be fuel debris at the bottom of the pedestal. 

The radiation level/temperature data obtained during the exploration are to be analyzed.  There was no impact on the surrounding environment by the exploration and no significant fluctuation were seen in the temperature of the PCV neither prior to nor after the exploration.
