Status of Review Regarding the Handling of ALPS Treated Water at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station

TEPCO would like to sincerely apologize for the great burden and inconvenience that the TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Accident has caused on the people of Fukushima, and society as a whole.
TEPCO presented its response regarding the handling of ALPS treated water at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station while considering the “Basic Policy on handling of ALPS treated water at the Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings’ Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station” decided by the government in April. Also, review of details of the design and operation of facilities for securing safety has been in progress with a view to taking thorough actions to minimize adverse impacts on reputation.
The status of review of details of design and operation of facilities and measures taken to minimize adverse impacts on reputation and reputational damage have been summarized in the attachments below.
TEPCO will continue the review while carefully listening to the opinions from people in the region and parties concerned.
