Fuel Cost Adjustment in the Electricity Rates for May 2019

In response to today's publication of the fuel prices from December 2018 to February 2019 (trade statistics prices of crude oil, LNG, and coal), the fuel cost adjustment unit prices in the electricity rates for May 2019 have been fixed as follows.
<Reference 1> Electricity rates for May will be 65JPY less than those for April as a result of calculations that reflect fuel cost adjustments and the FY2019 renewable energy generation promotion tax unit price (2.95JPY/kWh [Announced by METI on March 22, 2019]) that will be imposed from May.
