Anticipated Amount of Time Required to Restore Power in Cities, Districts, Towns, and Villages in Chiba Prefecture and Assistance on the Ground(As of 11:00 PM, September 14)

  We would like to sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience that the power losses resulting from Typhoon #15 have caused on all those affected. As of 11:00 PM September 14, approximately 140,000 households in TEPCO Power Grid’s service area were still without power. We continue to make every effort to restore power as quickly as possible.
  We are also stepping up our assistance to people in regions where power loss has been prolonged, and are cooperating to the fullest with activities being implemented by local governments.

1.Anticipated time required to restore power to cities, districts, towns, villages in Chiba Prefecture
  Based on the damage to facilities that we are currently aware of, the anticipated amount of time required to restore power to cities, districts, towns, and villages in Chiba Prefecture are as noted in Attachment 1.

2.Assistance on the ground
  We are providing assistance in the form of the supply of materials and equipment to local governments in accordance with requests. Please refer to Attachment 2 for more details.

  We shall continue to strive to restore power as quickly as possible and quickly provide information on repair status via our website and Twitter, etc.
