Caution; Beware of Fake, Phishing and Spoofing Emails

Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc.

Recently, we have become aware that someone claiming to be our officers or employees turned out to be sending fake, phishing and spoofing e-mails on job recruiting (from an email address containing the word “tepcojp”) in the name of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as, “TEPCO Holdings, Inc.”). These e-mails are not legitimate message from TEPCO Holdings, Inc. We have nothing to do with such e-mails. Please do NOT reply to them, BUT delete them immediately from your computer.

We have been cooperating with investigative authorities to address this matter. If you feel suspicious about a job recruiting as mentioned above, please do not hesitate to report it to the competent authority.
