TEPCO Ventures Invests in Fermata Energy to Spur Development of Commercial V2B Business

TEPCO Ventures, TEPCO’s wholly owned subsidiary engaged in investing in and supporting the operation of new businesses, has invested US$ 2.5 million in Fermata, LLC (Fermata Energy), the world's leading vehicle-to-building (V2B) company.

TEPCO Ventures expects to establish a new business ecosystem in the Japanese market by combining Fermata Energy’s technological expertise and understanding of V2B business opportunities and the TEPCO Group’s knowledge of the Japanese electric power market.
