TEPCO has accomplished stable and reliable power system to achieve high quality
power supply. To realize the well-balance performance, TEPCO improves protection
performance, develops various protection systems and uses appropriate controller
etc.

Improvement in System Performance
As a power system expands, deterioration in the system performance is expected.
For example, system problems such as increase in fault current, transient
instability, thermal overloading, under frequency, voltage instability are
enumerated. It is essential that adequate measures be taken in advance so
as to meet the system expansion. TEPCO has many experiences regarding review
work of system performance and establishment of appropriate measures.
