There are many aged hydropower plants in TEPCO power system, because TEPCO has long history of hydropower generation.

Then it is necessary to make plans for reconstruction of aged hydro power plants from economical benefit and preservation security. Sometimes it is required to reconstruct total basin system.

TEPCO has many experiences for reconstruction work of hydro power plants over 30 years.

Table and Fig. show an example. Increment of output on this hydro power plant is 400 [kW] by reconstruction.

There is a lot of know-how to make plans and to execute reconstruction of hydro power plant. Therefore it is possible to reconstruct hydro power plant rationally by TEPCO.
