Radiation Dose measured at Monitoring Post of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station

The following is the radiation doses of the air measured by the monitoring posts (MP1-8), portable monitoring posts and monitoring cars on the premises of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.

Monitoring post (MP1 - MP8)

     ※There are some cases that wind direction and speed at the exhaust stacks cannot be measured properly due to storm.

  ○Information

*As of 2:00 PM, August 28,2014 the decimal place displayed for the monitoring posts, No. 1 to 8, will be changed to the 3rd place （X．XXX μＳv/h） from the 1st place （X．X μＳv/h). *Though data acquisition will be temporarily suspended on the monitoring post under inspection,radiation measurement will be continued by the other monitoring posts(the inspection will be conducted by rotation. The inspection schedule is subject to change depending on the weather. *The data taken from 00:00～23:50 will be posted on our homepage at 00:10 next day as "The past measurement results (from October 17, 2012). *We improved the measurement conditions of monitoring post 2 to 8 for precise measurement of air dose rate. Construction works such as tree-clearing, surface soil removal, and shield wall setting were implementedfrom Feb 10 to Apr 18.Therefore monitoring results at these points are lower than other points in the power plant site. *The radiation shielding panel around the monitoring post No.6, which is one of the instruments used to measure the radiation dose of the power station site boundary,were taken off from July 10 to July 11, since the surrounding radiation dose has largely fallen down due to the further cutting down of the forests etc. *The inspection of Protective Unit for Weather Observation Device will be carried out on Jun 4, 2015.Note that the data of wind-direction/wind speed and rain detector will not be available temporarily.The schedule is subject to change due to weather condition or other unexpected events.
