A wind farm refers to a location where multiple wind turbines have been erected for large-scale wind power generation. In Japan, more windfarms are being built in wide-open locations that experience strong winds.
TEPCO RP constructed its first wind farm, the Higashi-Izu Wind Farm, near the top of Mt. Misuji on the border between Higashi-Izu Town and Kawazu Town. Commercial operation of the wind farm commenced in August 2015.
