In response to today's publication of the fuel prices for December 2014 to February 2015 (trade statistics prices of crude oil, LNG, and coal), the fuel cost adjustment unit prices in the electricity rates for May 2015 have been fixed as follows:
1.Fuel cost adjustment unit prices
2.The change of the electricity rates on the average model
The electricity rates for May 2015 will be 8,519 yen, which is an increase of 18 yen from those for April 2015. This increase reflects the difference between the fuel cost adjustment unit price of April 2015 and that of May 2015, and the rise in the unit price of the renewable energy power promotion surcharge, which is going to be applied from May 2015.
