Today, in response to the publication of the fuel prices for May to July, 2014 (trade statistics prices of crude oil, LNG, and coal), the unit price of the electricity rate for October, 2014 has been fixed as follows:

2.Impact on the average model
Electricity rate per month for October will decrease 54 yen from those for September. The difference includes the decrease by fuel costs adjustment (40 yen) and the decrease due to the end of application of Photovoltaic Power Promotion Surcharge to the electric rate in September (14 yen).

* The fee shown in the table applies to a case of 30A of meter-rate lighting B with electricity consumption of 290 kWh/month and it includes the renewable energy power promotion surcharge, photovoltaic power promotion surcharge (only applied to September), a reduction by automatic bank transfer discount, and consumption tax, etc.
* The renewable energy power promotion surcharge in the average model which is applied to the electricity rates from May 2014 to April 2015 will be 217 yen.
* Photovoltaic power promotion surcharge will not be applied to the rates of October, 2014 and after in accordance with the "Act on promoting the use of non fossil energy resources and the effective use of fossil energy resources by energy supply utilities" and other related laws. (The photovoltaic power promotion surcharge in the average model which is applied to the electricity rats from April 2014 to September 2014 will be 14 yen.)
