At Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power Station, the restoration of equipment/facilities necessary for maintaining cold shutdown is ongoing in accordance with the restoration plan developed based on the Nuclear Operator Emergency Action Plan.

At Unit 2, the restoration of the equipment/facilities necessary for maintaining cold shutdown and Units 1-2 discharge channel monitor (common facility) has been completed on February 15 and 18, 2013 respectively. Today, a progress report including these updates was submitted to the Prime Minister, the Nuclear Regulation Authority, the governor of Fukushima prefecture and mayors of Naraha Town and Tomioka Town.

The restoration of Unit 4 and 3 has been completed on May 17 and October 11, 2012 respectively. We will continue our efforts in advancing the restoration of equipment/facilities necessary for maintaining cold shutdown at Unit 1 in accordance with the restoration plan.
