Countermeasures for Water Leakage

In order to mitigate the dis persal of radioactive material into the ocean, we have been constructing a water shielding wall in front of the existing seawall of Units 1 to 4 since October 2011. It is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2014.

We started placing steel pipe sheet piles, which will form the main structure of the water shielding wall, from April 2.
