As part of the business and organizational reform (system standardization and operational efficiency and server consolidation) in the Power Grid Company, TEPCO conducted a "Request For Proposal for Development of Next Generation SCADA/EMS*" to apply to local transmission and distribution systems. We have selected Toshiba Corporation as the system developer and have concluded a contract with them today.

In this Request for Proposal, we invited proposals from both domestic and overseas companies, and conducted strict and fair reviews adopting opinions from outside experts.

Construction of "Next Generation SCADA/EMS" will accelerate our efforts in reduction of consignment costs by "Cost Reduction", secure a stable power supply by "Ensuring Business Quality", and business expansion entry into global markets by "Compliance with International Standards".
