TEPCO Fuel & Power, Incorporated

TEPCO Fuel & Power, Incorporated^*1 (hereinafter called TEPCO Fuel & Power) announced that it would transfer existing fuel business (upstream/procurement) and existing overseas power generation/energy infrastructure business to JERA^*2 Co., Inc. (hereinafter called JERA) in July, 2016. (announced on December 22, 2015)

TEPCO Fuel & Power today announced that it had concluded an absorption-type split agreement with JERA to transfer its existing fuel business (upstream/procurement), existing overseas thermal IPP business, and replacement of the thermal power station and new business to be conducted by Hitachinaka Generation Co., Inc.^*3 to JERA on July 1^st, 2016 (be scheduled).

*1 On April 1st, 2016, Tokyo Electric Power Company Incorporated transitioned to holding company system in which Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Incorporated serves as a holding company and TEPCO Fuel & Power, a core business company, inherits fuel and thermal power generation business.
