TEPCO Energy Partner, Inc.
In response to today's publication of the fuel prices for January 2016 to March 2016 (trade statistics prices of crude oil, LNG, and coal), the fuel cost adjustment unit prices in the electricity rates for June 2016 have been fixed as follows:
<Reference 1> The change of the electricity rates on the average model
The electricity rates on the average model for June 2016 will be 6,347 yen, which is a decrease of 132 yen from those for May 2016. This is the calculation result reflecting the fuel cost adjustment and the review on the electricity unit prices (previously announced on December 1, 2015) associated with the increase in the tax for global warming countermeasures (hereafter, the "petroleum and coal tax") which will be applied from May 2016.
The electricity consumption for the average model was also reviewed (290kWh/month ⇒260kWh/month) based on the electricity usage records of customers.
