In response to today's publication of the fuel prices for December 2015 to February 2016 (trade statistics prices of crude oil, LNG, and coal), the fuel cost adjustment unit prices in the electricity rates for May 2016 have been fixed as follows:
Fuel Cost Adjustment Unit Prices

<Reference 1> The change of the electricity rates on the average model
The electricity rates on the average model for May 2016 will be 7,225 yen, which is an increase of 49 yen from those for April 2016. This is the calculation result reflecting the fuel cost adjustment and the renewable energy power promotion surcharge (2.25 yen/kWh), which will be applied from May 2016.
