Today, in response to the publication of the fuel prices for January to March, 2014 (trade statistics prices of crude oil, LNG, and coal), the unit price of the electricity rate for June, 2014 has been fixed as follows:

Electricity rates per month for June will increase 26 yen from those for May.

"Fuel cost adjustment system" is a system designed to automatically adjust monthly electricity fees based on fluctuations in (actual recorded) fuel prices for crude oil, LNG and coal.
