At around 12:39 AM today (on November 26), a leakage detector for the seawater pipe trench purification system on the sea-side of the Unit 3 turbine building operated, and the pump stopped.
As a result of the inspection at the site, we found a water puddle only in the detection box inside the drain pan in which a detector was installed.
We found no leakage from that purification system, therefore our speculation is that it would be the influence of rainwater from the crevice of protection sheets.
We will measure the radiation dose of the water found in the detection box.
