Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report 2013

This is follow-up information regarding the water leakage which occurred today (on October 9) near the desalination system (reverse osmosis membrane: RO-3) inside the temporary warehouse.

As a result of the subsequent investigation, the leakage amount is estimated to be approx. 7m³. The leaked water inside the dike will be collected to the waste liquid supply tank of the desalination system.

In addition, of 6 workers who were found to have radioactive material on their bodies, 5 workers were finished to have been decontaminated while another worker is still being decontaminated on the sole of the foot.
