Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report (Oct 04, 2013)Alarm Went off Indicating a Process Error of the System C of the Multi-nuclide Removal Equipment (ALPS)

At around 6:43 AM today (on October 4), an alarm went off indicating a process error, and the system C of the Multi-nuclide Removal Equipment (ALPS) has stopped.

It is currently in operation under circulation mode, which is a part of pretreatment stage.

No abnormality such as leakage, etc. was found on the system C of the Multi-nuclide Removal Equipment (ALPS).

We are now investigating the cause of this incident.
