This is follow-up information on the water dropping from the top plate of the B area (south), which happened yesterday (on October 2).
We would like to announce the measurement results obtained at the side ditches (X-1 and X-2) and the newly analyzed junction of the drainage channel and the side ditch beside the tank as follows.
<The side ditch beside the tank (a point immediately short of the junction with the drainage channel C) (X-1)>
- Sampled on October 3
Cesium-134: 180Bq/L
Cesuim-137: 480Bq/L
All β: 13,000Bq/L
- Sampled on October 2
Cesium-134: 120Bq/L (previously announced)
Cesuim-137: 310Bq/L (previously announced)
All β: 15,000Bq/L (previously announced)
<The side ditch beside the tank (X-2)>
- Sampled on October 3
Cesium-134: 36Bq/L
Cesuim-137: 81Bq/L
All β: 7,100Bq/L
- Sampled on October 2
Cesium-134: 66Bq/L (previously announced)
Cesuim-137: 170Bq/L (previously announced)
All β: 5,200Bq/L (previously announced)
<The junction of the drainage channel C and the side ditch beside the tank (C-1-1)>
- Sampled on October 3
Cesium-134: Below the detection limit value (detection limit value: 18 Bq/L)
Cesuim-137: 43Bq/L
All β: 800Bq/L
No significant change was found on the other analysis results in the other drainage channels compared to the previous results.
