This is follow-up information on the accumulated water (rainwater) overflowing at the H8-south area today (on October 2).
We inspected the tank areas other than the H8-south area, whether there is any overflow of water or not. As a result, rainwater was reached at the upper tip of the dike at the G3-east area (where welding tanks are being installed), and we cannot rule out the possibility of the water crossing the dike.
Therefore, at 7:50 PM today, we started transferring the accumulated water (rainwater) inside the dike to the tank at the G3-east area.
The analysis result of all β obtained from this accumulated water (rainwater) was found to be below the detection limit value (detection limit value: 8 Bq/L) yesterday.
