At around 11:50 AM today (on October 1), an associated company worker found water overflowing from a man hole on the upper part of a notch tank, which was installed at the east of the H5 area tank, during water transfer from inside of the dike at the H6 area tank to the notch tank at Fukushima Daiichi NPS.
The water has stopped after suspension of a transfer pump at around 12:10 PM on the same day.
The status and the cause of leakage are currently being investigated.
