This is follow-up information on the latest situation concerning the detection of high densities of tritium and strontium in the observation hole located on the east of the Units 1-4 Turbine Buildings.
We would like to announce measurement result of tritium on water in the groundwater observation hole No.2-6 located on the east of the Units 1-4 Turbine Buildings, sampled for the first time on September 20.
<Measurement results on the groundwater observation hole No.2-6: Sampled on September 20>
· Tritium 200Bq/L
· Cesium-134: Below the detection limit value (the detection limit value: 0.39Bq/L) (previously announced)
· Cesium-137: Below the detection limit value (the detection limit value: 0.45Bq/L) (previously announced)
· All-β: Below the detection limit value (the detection limit value: 18Bq/L) (previously announced)
We will continue sampling, analyzing, and monitoring the situation.
