Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report 2013

Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report (Sep 16, 2013)Influence of Rainfall from Approaching Typhoon on Fukushima Daiichi NPS (Correction to Follow-up Information 2)

This is follow-up information on influence of rainfall from the approaching typhoon on Fukushima Daiichi NPS.

With regards to the all-β radioactivity density results of the contaminated water tank areas we announced in "Influence of Rainfall from Approaching Typhoon on Fukushima Daiichi NPS (Follow-up Information 2)", we would like to make the following correction:

<Before correction>
·C area (east side) for contaminated water tanks: 2Bq/L
<After correction>
·C area (east side) for contaminated water tanks: 24Bq/L

Since the above actual density (24Bq/L) is still below the density limit by the announcement of reactor regulation for strontium-90 (30Bq/L), we consider the release of the water does not affect the environment.
