This is follow-up information on the latest situation concerning the detection of high densities of tritium and strontium in the observation hole located on the east of the Units 1-4 Turbine Buildings.
We would like to announce measurement result of tritium on water in the groundwater observation hole No.3-4 located on the east of the Units 1-4 Turbine Buildings, sampled for the first time on September 12.
<Measurement results on the groundwater observation hole No.3-4: Sampled on September 12>
·Tritium: Below the detection limit value (the detection limit value: 110Bq/L)
·Cesium-134: 0.52 Bq/L (previously announced)
·Cesium-137: 1.3 Bq/L (previously announced)
·All-β: Below the detection limit value (the detection limit value: 0.36Bq/L) (previously announced)
We would like to announce measurement result of cesium and all-β on water in the groundwater observation hole No.1-11 located on the east of the Units 1-4 Turbine Buildings, sampled for the first time on September 13.
<Measurement results on the groundwater observation hole No.3-4: Sampled on September 13>
·Cesium-134: Below the detection limit value (the detection limit value: 17 Bq/L)
·Cesium-137: 0.48Bq/L
·All-β: 43Bq/L
We will continue sampling, analyzing, and monitoring the situation.
