This is follow-up information on the "water leak at a tank in the H4 area in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station" found on August 19.
We performed the analyses of tritium (sampled on September 6) and all β (sampled on September 7) in water in an observation hole (E-2: in south of a dike of the tank No.5 in I Group in the H4 area with water leakage) around H4 tank area. The results are as follows.
<Observation hole: E-2>
Tritium: 190Bq/L (sampled on September 6)
All β: 35Bq/L (sampled on September 7)
The result of tritium sampled on September 6 was 190Bq/L, whereas the results of tritium (sampled on September 4 and 5) were below the detection limit value (detection limit value: 120Bq/L).
The result of all β sampled on September 7 this time was 35Bq/L. The result of all β has been decreasing compared to the previous results of all β sampled before at the same point (650 Bq/L sampled on September 4; 330Bq/L sampled on September 5; 180Bq/L sampled on September 6).
We are determined to continue analyses and to monitor the situation.
