Following the water dropping from the connecting pipe between H5-IV-Tank No.5 and H5-IV-Tank No.6, we conducted analysis on water found accumulated under the connecting pipe, and would like to announce the results.
· Sampling results following the water leakage at the H5 area tanks in Fukushima Daiichi NPS
All β: 3.0x105Bq/cm3 (sampled on August 31, 2013)
* The sample amount was too small to analyze the γ nuclides and obtain the cesium-134 and cesium-137 densities.
This value is about the same as the most recent value with respect to the group of tanks that includes this tank (3.6x105Bq/cm3 from sampling on December 6, 2012).
