This is follow-up information on the "water leak at a tank in the H4 area in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station" found on August 19.
At 10:30 AM today (on August 29), we started to transfer water from inside Tank No.3 in Group II in the H4 area to Tank No.10 in Group B in the H4 area to reduce the risk of leakage from the tank. Among the 3 tanks that experienced ground subsidence occurred in the H1 area at the foundations on which they had been set up, this Tank No.3 is the only one still having water to be transferred.
At 10:40 AM, we patrolled the site to check on the transfer, and found no abnormality such as leakage.
