At around 2:54 PM today (on August 25), a TEPCO employee found a water leakage in front of the switchyard at Unit 3, 4 during a water filling work from the filtrate water tank to the reactor well of Unit 4.
Later, we suspended a transfer pump, and the leakage was found to be stopped.
Leaked water is filtrate water, and the cause, etc. is being investigated. We will announce the status soon after it is ready. Leaked amount was estimated to be approx. 8m3 as we calculated by water level of the filtrate water tank.
No abnormality on the plant data (reactor injection water amount, spent fuel pool water temperature, etc.) and no significant change in the monitoring post data have been found.
