Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report 2013

Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report (Aug 17, 2013)Tritium Density Result of Water Quality Survey inside the Port of Fukushima Daiichi NPS (Follow-up Information 36)

This is follow-up information on the latest situation concerning the detection of high densities of Tritium and Strontium in the observation hole at the east side of the Unit 1-4 Turbine Buildings of Fukushima Daiichi NPS.

We would like to make an announcement on a tritium density measured in water sampled on August 14 from the Unit 1 seawater pipe trench vertical shaft B as we obtained the result today (on August 17) after we made an announcement on August 15 on the chloride concentration and γ nuclide and all-β densities in the water.

< Unit 1 seawater pipe trench vertical shaft B >
- Sampling on August 14:
Tritium Below the detection limit value
* Detection limit value: 130Bq/L
