This is a follow-up report on the statuses of suspension of a suction pump installed at dust radiation monitor B system in the exhaust system exit of Unit 2 Reactor Building on July 23.
As a result of the site investigation on the dust radiation monitor B system, dislocation of position detector of airtight device (motor driving) was found, which clips and fixes a dust measurement filtrate paper.
We estimated that this dislocation caused giving of the alarm and suspension of the dust suction pump, so we have adjusted this dislocation.
At 11:43 PM on July 23, the suction pump of the dust radiation monitor B system was restarted after the adjustment. At 11:53 PM on the same day, dust measurement was restarted.
Neither was any abnormality found in the operation status or the monitoring post readings
