This is a follow-up report on the statuses of steam found wafting through the air near the central part of the fifth floor (equipment storage pool side) of Unit 3 on July 18.
We would like to announce the results of radiation dose measurement performed around the location where the steam was found (shield plug as a whole) today (July 23).
As a result of the measurement at 25 locations around the location where the steam was found, the maximum dose was 2170mSv/h and the minimum dose was 137mSv/h. The radiation dose at the location where the steam was found was 562mSv/h.
We will continue to monitor the status closely.
