At around 1:20 PM today (July 10), in the upper part of Unit 3 Reactor Building, hydraulic oil was found leaking from a hydraulic cutter of unmanned heavy equipment used for debris removal.
Immediately thereafter, the engine of the unmanned heavy equipment was stopped, and the leakage is being stopped currently. Further, it was confirmed that the leaked oil has not flowed into the spent fuel pool.
This heavy equipment was lifted down to the ground from the gantry installed near the upper part of Unit 3 Reactor Building.
At around 1:31 PM, this incident was reported to the fire department.
