Under the in-house company system introduced on April 1, the following organizational restructuring measures will be implemented (to be effective from June 26) to integrate the functions of the corporate division at the Head Office (supporting management and providing services common to all Companies) and organizational streamlining will be implemented to enhance reform promotion.

1. Establishment of the "Management Restructuring Division"
The "Management Restructuring Division" (thoroughly enhanced "Secretariat of the Management Restructuring Division") led by the President appointed as the Director will be established. The "Secretariat of the Management Restructuring Division", "Corporate Planning Department", "Inter-corporate Business Department", "Nuclear Reform Special Task Force" and "Social Communication Office" will be set up under the division. The organization will contribute to enhanced collective efforts towards reform.

2. Integration of the "Corporate Planning Department" and the "Engineering Department"
The planning and management functions of the Corporate Planning Department and the Engineering Department will be integrated for the purpose of enhancing the overall planning function and the operational management system of each Company while accommodating the power system reforms.

3. Establishment of the "Engineering R & D Department"
The engineering strategy function of the Engineering Department and the Engineering Research & Development Division (the Research & Development Planning Department and the Research and Development Center) will be integrated into the newly established "Engineering R & D Department". The organization will develop a system which comprehensively addresses engineering challenges.

4. Integration of the "Employee Relations & Human Resources Department" and the "TEPCO General Training Center"
The Employee Relations & Human Resources Department and the TEPCO General Training Center will be integrated for the purpose of developing a system which allows for the unified implementation of human resource measures and training.

The former "Gas Company" will be changed to the "Gas Business Department" and will promote the gas business in collaboration with each Company.
