This is follow-up information regarding the water leak from the underground reservoirs at Fukushima Daiichi NPS.
The water remaining in the underground reservoir No.6 was transferred to G6 tank utilizing a temporary line during daytime since June 5. The water transfer was completed at 1:55 PM today (June 9).
As a result of patrol on the water transfer status, no abnormality such as leakage has been found.
The total amount of water transferred from the underground reservoir No.6 to G6 tank during the period from May 21 (the day water transfer was started) to today is approx. 7,900m3.
