This is follow-up information regarding the water leak from the underground reservoirs at Fukushima Daiichi NPS.
The water remaining in the underground reservoir No.3 was transferred to G6 tank utilizing a temporary line during daytime. The water transfer was completed at 12:38 PM today (June 6).
The total amount of water transferred from the underground reservoir No.3 to G6 tank during the period from May 18 to June 3 is approx. 8,200m3. The total amount of water transferred from the underground reservoir No.3 to the underground reservoir No.6 during the period from June 3 to 6 is approx. 200m3.
The remaining water transfer from the underground reservoir No.6 to G6 tank, which was suspended yesterday (June 5), was restarted at 2:38 PM today.
As a result of patrol on the water transfer status, no abnormality such as leakage has been found.
