This is follow-up information regarding the water leak from the underground reservoirs at Fukushima Daiichi NPS.
An alternating transfer between the underground reservoir No.3 and the underground reservoir No.6 to G6 tank will be conducted since they are sharing the same transfer line.
The water transfer from the underground reservoir No.3 to G6 area tank was started at 10:12 AM on June 1 and suspended at 2:04 PM today (June 3).
* The water transfer from the underground reservoir No.3 to G6 tank is finished today.
The transfer line will be switched from the underground reservoir No.3 to the underground reservoir No.6 and the water transfer from the underground reservoir No.6 to G6 area tank will be started at 2:36 PM today.
The water remaining in the underground reservoir No.3 was transferred to the underground reservoir No.6 at 2:18 PM today utilizing a temporary line.
The remaining water transfer from the underground reservoir No.3 to the underground reservoir No.6 is planned to be performed during daytime
