Fukushima Daiichi NPS Prompt Report 2013

At 9:10 AM today (May 1), alarms indicating abnormality of the temporary cask storage facility ("abnormal pressure between the lids" and "abnormal surface temperature") went off at the remote monitoring room in the Main Anti-earthquake Building.

No significant change has been found so far with the related parameters and the monitoring post readings.

Currently, site investigation is being performed (which is expected to take about an hour). Updates are to be announced.
