This is follow-up information regarding the water leak from the underground reservoirs at Fukushima Daiichi NPS.
The water transfer from the underground reservoir No.1 to the filtrate water tank No.1 which had been ongoing since 10:58 AM on April 25 was completed at 5:12 AM today (April 29).
The amount of water transferred to the filtrate water tank No.1 during the period from April 25 to today (April 29) is approx. 4,600m3.
The transfer of the water remaining in the underground reservoir No.1 to H2 area tank is planned to be restarted once the preparation is complete. The results of water transfer are to be announced separately.
