Press Release (Apr 26, 2013)Submission of Report on the Results of Disaster Training Performed at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, Fukushima Daini Nuclear Power Staion and Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station

In accordance with the Act on Special Measures concerning Nuclear Emergency Preparedness which became effective in June 2000, disaster training is held at Fukushima Daiichi and Daini Nuclear Power Stations and Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Station based on the "Nuclear Operator Emergency Action Plan*" developed for each power station.

As it is stipulated by the Act on Special Measures concerning Nuclear Emergency Preparedness that nuclear operators are required to report the results of disaster training to the Nuclear Regulation Authority and announce the overview, we have submitted "report on the results of disaster training" of each power station to the Nuclear Regulation Authority today.

* "Nuclear Operator Emergency Action Plan"
Stipulates nuclear disaster (escalation) prevention operations and operations necessary for restoration in the case of a nuclear disaster.
