We have been discussing the conclusion of agreement on report and communication related to Fukushima Daiichi and Daini Nuclear Power Stations with Fukushima Prefecture and related municipalities. On July 25, 2012, the "Agreement on report and communication related to the nuclear power stations" (hereinafter referred to as "agreement on report and communication") was concluded with Iwaki City in the presence of Fukushima Prefecture. The agreement became effective on July 26, 2012.
In addition, the outline of report and communication set based on the "Agreement on security in the surrounding area of nuclear power stations (Security agreement)" concluded with Fukushima Prefecture and 4 towns (Naraha Town, Tomioka Town, Okuma Town and Futaba Town) was revised on July 25, 2012 and became effective on July 26, 2012.

Furthermore, as for the 8 municipalities* in Fukushima Prefecture for which the agreement on report and communication had been scheduled to be concluded or revised, the agreement was concluded with Tamura City, Kawamata City, Kawauchi Village, Katsurao Village and Iitate Village in the presence of Fukushima Prefecture, and the existing agreement has been revised for Hirono Town on August 9, 2012. The concluded or revised agreement became effective on August 10, 2012.

On April 25, 2013, the agreement on report and communication has been concluded with Minamisoma City in the presence of Fukushima Prefecture and the agreement has become effective today.
We will continue our effort in providing clear explanation and detailed information on the status of our nuclear power stations with the government and municipalities.
