This is follow-up information regarding the water leak from the underground reservoirs at Fukushima Daiichi NPS.

The results of sampling performed in the drain holes of the underground reservoirs No.1-7 (at 14 locations), the leakage detection holes of the underground reservoirs No.1-4 and 6 (sampling could not be performed in 3 out of 10 locations), the underground reservoir observation holes (at 18 locations) and the sea side observation holes (at 1 locations) on yesterday (April 23) are as follows.

No significant change was found with the analysis results from yesterday (April 23) compared to the day before yesterday (April 22). The result of the location where the sampling was first performed (underground reservoir observation hole A2, A5, A13, A16 and sea side observation hole(3)) showed the same level of the other observation holes.

The water level, etc. of the underground reservoirs will continue to be intensively monitored.
